Accord is one of the largest housing, health and social care organisations in the Midlands.  The organisation was established in the 1960s in the aftermath of ‘Cathy Come Home’ to meet housing need, homelessness and family breakdown. We are proud of who we are, what we have achieved and about what we are here to do.  Our vision is one in which people have more choice about their homes, the services they receive, and where people can be involved in developing their communities.

As a leading provider of services in our region we want use our strengths, make the most of our capabilities to deliver positive outcomes and have ambitious growth plans to increase the number of homes and services provided to some of the most vulnerable people in our society.  These plans require us to think and act a bit differently, so we are looking to attract the best talent from both inside and outside of the sector to help us on this journey.

We are looking for a committed and experienced individual to help support the Executive team in developing existing relationships and forging new partnerships and deliver our growth ambitions. As Director of Strategy and Partnerships you will help shape and develop our conversations across the sector and wider with the NHS, private developers and other agencies too.

We want strategic thinkers, socially but commercially minded individuals, with the energy and drive to make a real difference.  Importantly you’ll have values that align with ours and you’ll want to help us to continue to succeed.

It’s a fascinating time in the sector and this will be a challenging but rewarding role, one that will evolve over time and for the right person, one that that will open up so many opportunities in the future. If you’d like to be part of our journey, we’d like to hear more about you.

For a further confidential discussion, please call our advising consultant Simon Wing on 027 426 3976 or Tim Hills on 0113 205 6085.
