As our remit continues to expand, we’re working to deliver a world-class, fully integrated multi-modal transport network that will make a real difference for people, communities and businesses across Wales. We’re undertaking a significant programme of infrastructure transformation across Wales, introducing new trains, improving stations and working on the implementation of a more efficient, frictionless service for customer contact that inspires trust, enthusiasm and confidence. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we're continuously improving our understanding of their needs to provide customer-centric, safe and sustainable services.

We seek a new Chair of Audit and Risk Committee to lead strong oversight and assurance that TfW is maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting, internal control, risk management and audit integrity. We regard our Audit Committee as much more than a compliance function – rather, it is a critical enabler of TfW’s sustainable performance and long-term value creation. We are seeking an individual with deep financial and audit expertise, coupled with strong strategic and commercial acumen. You will be joining a committed and forward-looking Board, where constructive challenge, independence of thought, and collaborative leadership are valued. Your insights will be vital in supporting our Executive Leadership Team as we continue our remit continues to evolve in a rapidly changing regulatory and economic landscape. Welsh language skills are desirable.

At Transport for Wales, we value diversity. It makes us stronger, helps us understand our customers better, make better decisions and be more innovative.  Everyone’s different and has their own perspective so we’re building a diverse team that mirrors the communities we serve. Through this we’re determined to be one of Wales' leading inclusive employers.  We’re creating an inclusive transport network that everyone in Wales can be proud of.
