Ade Odunlade, Chief Operating Officer, Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, talks about his move from a computer driven and data background to a career in mental health as a clinician, before returning to corporate management. As one of the few black COO’s in the country, Ade speaks of his experience of ‘standing out’ and his strong desire to see organisations genuinely capitalise upon the benefits that diversity brings and ensure diverse talent has a lounder voice and, above all, ‘belongs’.
