With this experience she has been able to secure a promotion to a new opportunity, and we are now keen to recruit a replacement who can help us continue that journey and take us further.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We are seeking a CCAB qualified (or equivalent) and highly talented individual to provide strategic financial and operational leadership within the Children's Services and Resources Directorates. In this senior and influential role you will be an advocate for change, providing support and challenge to the transformation of Children's Services and Resources within the reducing envelope of funding.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of creating and delivering improvements at strategic financial and operational level within a finance and service environment. As well as having significant experience of leading on budget preparation, expenditure monitoring and closure of accounts for a large organisation, you will have supported large change projects, including the provision of rigorous financial evaluation. You will be skilled in leading and motivating teams through rapid change and transformation to achieve improved outcomes. &lt;p&gt;The Secretary to the Board &amp;amp; CFO is a key member of the senior management team within CFB and is responsible for overseeing the administration of all CFB and Epworth managed funds, for ensuring compliance and best practice in the way that the investments are run and for ensuring effective strategic and operational financial management, control and reporting for the organisation. The Secretary to the Board &amp;amp; CFO reports to the Chief Executive and actively contributes to CFB and Epworth's overall strategic direction, playing a crucial role in driving performance, leading and implementing change and ensuring that CFB continues to deliver an exceptional quality service. The role will also be pro-active in managing and mitigating investment risk for the CFB, Epworth and clients. Specific responsibilities will include acting as CFB Secretary, overseeing the administration of all CFB &amp;amp; Epworth managed funds, managing compliance issues and ensuring effective strategic and operational financial management, control and reporting. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Secretary to the Board &amp;amp; CFO will directly manage a team of 6 and an annual budget of &amp;pound;2,25m.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;</description>
