&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is now recruiting for Private Sector Board Members.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As one of the UK's most successful Local Enterprise Partnerships, the Sheffield City Region LEP brings together business leaders and local politicians to make decisions that create substantial economic growth and real jobs.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Sheffield City Region's economy has an output of &amp;pound;25 billion pounds per year&amp;nbsp;and contains approximately 55,000 businesses. The area encompasses over 1.8 million people and 700,000 jobs.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Government has recognised the importance of the Sheffield City Region to rebalancing the UK economy and is devolving powers and funding so economic decisions can be made at a local level.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The LEP is looking to recruit two Board Members from the private sector - a CEO, director or successful entrepreneur working in a sector&lt;a name=&quot;_GoBack&quot;&gt;&lt;/a&gt; which is driving the future economic growth of the City Region.
