The national representative body for local government, is seeking an Executive Director to join its new Leadership team.  The LGA acts as the voice of local government in England and Wales, representing the sector as an authoritative advocate in promoting better local government. This is a key appointment for the LGA and will play a critical role supporting, promoting and facilitating local authority improvement.

Supporting local authorities adapt to the challenges facing public services in the context of unprecedented financial savings is more important than ever before.  The LGA are therefore seeking an exceptional ambassador for the sector who can work with its members to promote a culture of self-regulation, peer support and accountability to communities.
