Mark is the Lead Partner in the GatenbySanderson National Business Unit, which encompasses central government departments and agencies as well as the charity and voluntary sectors.

Formerly Managing Director at Veredus, Mark has 17 years’ experience in executive search and selection, specialising in high profile executive and non-executive appointments for the public sector.

Mark has a personal specialism in advising on government agency start-ups, and recently authored a report on lessons learnt from Non-Departmental Public Body start-ups. His track record in this area includes recruitment of the chair, chief executive and top team of the Serious Organised Crime Agency and the National Policing Improvement Agency, as well as the top team for the Nuclear De-commissioning Authority.
