Graham Goodwin

Chairman

Graham founded GatenbySanderson to provide a portfolio of services to support the performance of organisations through people.  His initial career was in the British Army serving for 9 years as an officer in the Royal Engineers with tours in places such as Germany, The Falkland Islands and Northern Ireland.  On leaving the Army he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Executive Search & Selection business.  Initially as a Consultant, he left 6 years later as a Director leading all of the Search & Selection regional business in the UK.  Graham now has over 15 years experience of leading Executive Search assignments at mainly Chief Executive and Board level across the public sector.

He formed GatenbySanderson in 2002 and in that time as Managing Partner developed it from a start up to a national company with offices in London, Birmingham and Leeds.  The company now has a range of successful product offerings from Executive Search, Interim Management and Digital Resourcing to Assessment, Development and Outplacement.  He stepped back from the day to day running of the company into a Chairman's role in 2009 in order to spend more time focusing on the overall strategic direction of the company.  He is particularly proud of the company's performance through the recent recession and the culture and loyalty that has been displayed by its colleagues and in particular its recent award of Gold Standard Investors in People.
