A pioneering partnership in Herefordshire

A new interim HR head, appointed by GatenbySanderson, has helped develop the pioneering partnership between a council and its primary care trust. When Gi Cheesman joined Herefordshire Council and Herefordshire Primary Care Trust as interim head of HR and organisational
development, she was faced with a unique challenge. However, the challenge was also an opportunity to work on an initiative that had never been attempted before and one which, if successful, could have far reaching implications for the relationships between councils and PCTs throughout England and
Wales.
