Double First for GatenbySanderson Interim Leadership in Government framework success

GatenbySanderson has been appointed to the new Buying Solutions framework agreement for Non Permanent Staff. The framework, which replaces the former agreement for Interim Managers and Specialist Contractors, manages the supply of interims to Central Government and whole of the public sector. GatenbySanderson is now one of only four ‘Buying Solutions’ suppliers that can provide executive level interims to government departments, including the following : the Home Office, HM Treasury, Department of Health, DEFRA, Ministry of Defence, Cabinet Office, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Department for Transport.

Specialist online site, Interim Management Jobs, recently polled 437 Interim Managers, who rated the service they have received from Interim Management Recruiters. Interim Managers were asked to rate the service they received ranging from criteria such as ‘overall impression' ‘level of contact' and ‘industry understanding'.

First Chief Executive of the Pharmaceutical Council Appointed

Duncan Rudkin has been appointed as the first Chief Executive of the General Pharmaceutical Council, the new independent regulator for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy premises. Duncan has been Chief Executive and Registrar of the General Dental Council since 2006 and takes up his new role at the end of the year.
A role that’s the first of its kind

GatenbySanderson are currently working with the North Mersey Health Economy to recruit a Programme Director. This challenging role is the first appointment of its type across a whole health economy with stakeholders including 12 Chief Executives from PCT's, Acute, Specialist and Foundation Trust. The purpose of the role is to eradicate duplication, improve efficiency and productivity, whilst providing patients with access to consistent, high quality, right first time diagnosis and treatment.
