Interim Head of Transformation Service

We’re working on behalf of a large local authority client to recruit an interim Head of Transformation whilst they undertake a management restructure. The interim will need to provide continuity during a period of change. The Head of Transformation is responsible for co-ordinating a team of project managers responsible for delivering a range of efficiency projects across areas such as customer services and back office services to schools. The Head of Transformation is responsible for meeting with stakeholders across the council’s directorates, assessing their project needs and commissioning the work internally or externally from their approved partner.

Interested interims must have strong project and programme management skills gained in a local authority have had prior experience of commissioning and managing services from a third party acting as the ‘client manager’.
