Description
Our client is an integrated Health and Social Care alliance between a local PCT and Local Council. Working collaboratively they have developed a model of care that services the needs of a large and diverse population with high levels of inner city inequality and a life expectancy variation across the region for men of over 10 years.
As an experienced Public Health Specialist you will need to provide leadership and contribute to the overall strategy to improve health and deliver on national priorities such as childhood obesity and smoking cessation.
Available for a 3 month period from the beginning of 2010 you will need to GMC Specialist register/GDC Specialist List or the UK Public Health register and ideally have experience of operating at or near board level.
