We always employ a rigorously consistent and fair approach to interviewing candidates; something that is in direct response to the often biased process that can exist elsewhere.

Our chartered occupational psychologists have carried out in-depth research into the inconsistencies that can occur in recruitment interviews. Their findings show that there are a number of fundamental issues that need to be addressed in improving interviewers’ self awareness. This needs to take account of personal bias and stereotyping that everyone uses as a short cut to decision making when first meeting new people.

In addition to applying consistency to the stages of job analysis and competency-based assessment we also address post selection issues such as learning and careers coaching. Key themes are accessibility, plus the use of constructive challenge for sustainable equalities outputs.
