Assessment centres

Still the most predictive form of assessment, we are experts in the design, delivery, and reporting back on small, bespoke and large scale assessment solutions. We ensure that candidates undergo a challenging yet enjoyable and enlightening day which provides our clients with objective and reliable information.

In-tray, group and role play exercises

We work with you to identify the most appropriate assessment exercises to be carried out for a particular role, and we do this by either designing a bespoke solutions or identifying best practice supplier solutions from a range of test producers.

Executive leadership profiling

For CEO and other senior level posts our one-to-one profiling process, which takes place with an Occupational Psychologist, provides a detailed insight into the abilities, motivations and personal style of leaders. It goes beyond the surface level and enables you to fully understand the talent and potential of current and future leaders.

The cost to your organisation of making a wrong decision with recruitment at this level can be huge and we believe this makes the leadership profile an essential part of senior recruitment.

Design of competency frameworks

We design competency frameworks from scratch, most commonly for start up organisations or for those who wish to start afresh. Using rep grids, card sort and interview techniques our consultants work within your organisation to identify what is critical to you in terms of the key performance indicators people need to demonstrate for you to achieve your strategic ambition.

We begin by developing a firm understanding of your values and aspirations and then translate these into concrete, workable competency definitions that can be used throughout the whole HR cycle, from recruitment, succession planning to 360 appraisal.

Competency mapping

Many organisations approach us to help them with their existing competency frameworks that are often old, stale and overly complex. We work with an organisation to identify the critical competencies that are paramount to them at that time – obviously a start up organisation has very different needs to one that has recently undergone a large scale assimilation process and needs to consolidate its capabilities.

Working with you to understand where your organisation currently is, and where you want to be, is one of our key skills. We help you make sense of where values, skills, abilities, knowledge and behaviours need to be separated out, so that you have an effective competency framework against which successful performance can be assessed.
